KHC SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIPS:
Kingman Healthcare Center, along with Kingman Healthcare Center Foundation and Kingman Healthcare
Center Auxiliary has established 6 $500 scholarships (4 are funded by the KHC Auxiliary). These scholarships are
open to residents of Kingman County wishing to pursue a career in the healthcare field.
The 2026-2027 KHC Scholarship Window will close on Thursday, April 30, 2026.
The healthcare industry is continually expanding. Whether you are interested in a clinical or non-clinical role,
we are here to assist you in pursuing a healthcare career.

- Medical Coding & Billing
- Medical Laboratory (MLT, MT)
- Accounting/Finance
- Diagnostic Radiology

- Advanced Practice Provider (APRN, PA-C, CRNA)

SELECTION AND AWARDS:
- Application window will close at 11:59 p.m. on April 30, 2026.
- A Scholarship Committee appointed by the Kingman Healthcare Center Board ofTrustees will review the applications and select the recipients.
- Each individual may apply annually.
- The scholarship award will be paid directly to the educational institution.
- Scholarships will be awarded without regard to race, religion, creed, age, sex, orientation,or national origin.
- All applicants will be notified by June 30.
- Scholarship is contingent on fund availability.
- Six (6) $500.00 scholarships will be awarded.
ELIGIBILITY:
- Kingman County resident committed to pursuing their healthcare career in Kansas, andparticularly Kingman County.
- Part-time or full-time student in a healthcare clinical or non-clinical course of study leading to a certificate, degree, or credential not currently held.
- Proof of acceptance intothe chosen career program will be required to receive the award.
- Attending a Kansas educational institution, including technical, two-or four-year institution. An exception maybe given for an accredited online or out-of-state program if the reason for choosing such an institution is explained in the application.
- Priority will be given to individuals currently employed by Kingman Healthcare Center
