WORK/LIFE BALANCE

Achieving a work-life balance in healthcare is a daily challenge. KHC recognizes that is it tough to make time for family, friends, community participations, and self-care. KHC helps employees achieve a work-life balance by offering a very lucrative paid time off package.

Paid Vacation Time: Kingman Healthcare Center expects you to use your vacation hours. Taking vacation can reduce stress, help prevent burnout, and promote a healthy work-life balance by allowing for more time to be spent with family and friends. Vacation hours are accrued based on years of service and hours worked.

Paid Self-Care Days: Healthcare workers spend so much time caring for others that they often forget to take care of their own personal needs. Taking time to care for yourself can make you a better caregiver for others.

Paid Maternity/Paternity Leave: A new child in the family is an exciting time and we want you to spend as much time as possible with your family. KHC pays for the first four weeks of Maternity/Paternity leave.

Paid Charitable/Community Service Hours: Giving back can enhance your own life by improving the lives of others. KHC believes in giving back. Instead of using vacation time for community service, we offer up to 80 hours of paid Charitable/Community time.

Paid Sick Time: When you or an immediate family member is ill, you can use sick time to care for them or yourself. Sick time can also be used for doctor and dentist appointments. Sick time is a set accrual.

Additional Employee Benefits:
Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
403 (b) and Roth Retirement Plans
Flexible Work Schedules (with Director approval)
