What is Cardiopulmonary Rehab?

Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation is a medically supervised program that aids in the recovery of a patient following a cardiac event such as a heart attack, heart bypass, or other cardiac event. It also helps patients with certain lung issues.

Cardiopulmonary Rehab is beneficial for patients who have experienced:

Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery
Acute Myocardial Infarction During the Last 12 Months
Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA)
Coronary Stenting
Heart or Lung Transplant
Congestive Heart Failure (in some cases)
Valve Replacement or Repair
